Why do I need to inspect goods when shipped from Thailand?
Lack of control can create problems at customs and significantly increase the risk of consignment seizures. The result may be the loss of money, time and business reputation, as well as getting into the blocklist of participants in foreign economic activity.
Inspecting goods allows the customer to draw preliminary conclusions about product packaging, labelling, appearance and functionality shortcomings.
The list of services provided for the quality control of goods includes inspections at the production stage, audits and laboratory testing. The customer can receive the check results in detailed photo/video reports with comments in Russian or English. This will allow you to respond to the situation promptly and prevent possible losses.
Types of inspections
There are three types of export checks in Thailand that can be distinguished.
Pre-Production Inspection
It is carried out to check the supplier's readiness (factory) for the start of production. The purpose of the inspection is to confirm the availability of the necessary raw materials and materials, the readiness of equipment and tools, the workload of industrial lines and the availability of labour resources.
Intermediate Inspection
Random inspection of goods from the production line is carried out. The quality and compliance of goods with technical requirements are determined. In addition, compliance with the terms of production of a batch of goods is checked.
Pre-shipment inspection
The goods are checked for compliance with the specification requirements with the study of materials, models, packaging, weight, and dimensions of products, and the quantity is calculated. If products of inadequate quality are found, a replacement request is made. Immediately before shipment, products are checked for compliance with the number of goods on the packing list, the integrity of the package and the compliance of the container with the requirements for transportation.

Product inspection steps
1. Clarification of data about the product and the plant (name, address, phone number, characteristics, number of products in a batch, completeness).
2. Communication with the manufacturer (arrangement with the factory to conduct an inspection).
3. Departure to the site and conduct an inspection (a photo report of the factory, products, transport and external packaging of goods is created, and an online broadcast is conducted if desired).
4. Sorting. Products are divided into batches: 'ready for shipment' and 'marriage'.
5. Sending goods (control of shipment of products);
6. Provision of written photo/video reports.
